Karran Finlay - Owner & Director

With over a decade of combined experience in strategic marketing, destination management, public relations, and event management, Karran has piloted everything from small private gatherings, client appreciation events, and product launches to extravagant celebrity parties and galas, international conferences, and integrated marketing campaigns.

Karran’s work has taken her across Canada and North America where she has gained key insights into the best event marketing and destination practices worldwide. She is known for being highly organized, strategic and dedicated to the highest standards of business and ethics. She has worked for a variety of industries from government, healthcare and pharmaceuticals to finance, retail and luxury goods.

She has created experiences in conjunction with companies and organizations such as the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE), Bristol Myers Squibb, Altamira, Hudson’s Bay Company, Alberta Tourism, Clean Air Strategic Alliance (CASA), and was most recently based at the head office of Holt Renfrew in Toronto, Ontario. During her 7 years at Holt Renfrew, Karran worked in many areas including national event management, public relations and strategic marketing.

Karran created Karran Finlay Marketing out of a desire to combine her love of event planning and marketing with her wish to service the needs of companies and individuals looking for excellent customer service and strategy with environmentally sustainable practices.
